Interesting topic today causing me to go to the bookshelf and pull down "Roy Crane's Wash Tubbs: The First Adventure Comic Strip" Compiled by Gordon Campbell and Jim Ivey with a Foreward by Charles M. Schulz.
Jim gave me a copy as a wedding present with the inscription: "Happy Wedding to Craig & Doralya" – Jim Ivey '80 "… * He gets the bargain!"
I don't remember other wedding gifts, but I've never forgotten THAT one!
Back in the 70's, Jim generously sent me an autographed copy of his new Roy Crane book. It was a real treat, and certainly made a lifetime Crane fan of me. Thanks again, Jim!—-Cole Johnson.
