Tuesday, Septmeber 29 1908 — The Angels are finally returning to LA after another long road trip (right side of cartoon), and lightweights Danny Webster and Ad Wolgast
are set to meet in the ring tonight at Jim Jeffries’ Arena in LA.
Wolgast will win, and had a long boxing career, but his is a
very sad story of a punch-drunk fighter who ended up in and out of
mental sanitariums.
